Unlike most marsupials, quokkas can climb. Isn’t that amazing?
Now, why can quokkas climb?
The reason quokkas can climb is because of their sharp claws.

Even though they are very cute, quokkas swallow food whole, regurgitate it and eat it again. Isn’t that disgusting but amazing?
Now, why do quokkas swallow food whole, regurgitate it and eat it again?
The reason why is that it allows them to absorb the nutrients in the food better. And even if it sounds gross, they are still very cute.

Even though they look like rodents, quokkas are marsupials. Isn’t that amazing?
Now, why are quokkas marsupials?
The reason why is because their DNA reveals that they are closely related to marsupials like kangaroos and since quokkas are wallabies, which are also marsupials, they are part of the family of marsupials.
5. They throw their babies at predators.😧
Did you know they throw their babies at predators?
Even though they are nice, they throw their babies at predators. Isn’t that amazing but mean?
Now, why do they throw their babies at predators?
The reason is because they need to stay safe so they throw their babies and while the baby distracts the predator the mother escapes.
