Now, why are leopards apex predators?

The reason why is that the leopard is incredibly strong and muscular allowing it to overcome animals.

The reason why is that they are very muscular and well built making them very strong and are the strongest in terms of climbing.

Even though they are smaller than deer, pumas are apex(animals that are not eaten) predators. Isn’t that amazing?

The reason why is because of its overwhelming strength so it can lift heavy prey.

5. Leopards are smaller than pumas but considered big cats.

The reason why is that to be part of the big cat family, the cat must belong to the genus Panthera and have a flexible cartridge to help it roar. Pumas don’t belong to Panthera and have solid hyoids but leopards belong to Panthera and have flexible cartridge considering leopards big cats.

The reason is that leopards eat anything and have the ability to thrive in harsh and hot conditions.

Even though some cats have wide populations, leopards have the largest geographic range of any big cat of Africa! Isn’t that amazing?

The reason is that the leopard can adapt to a number of habitats so it can be found in many places of Africa.
